1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp baking powder
2-3 tbsp vanilla lasco
1 tbsp vanilla essence
1 cup water
1 pinch of cinnamon powder
2-3 cups cooking oil for frying

Mix all the dry ingredients, then add (water mix with vanilla) to the dry ingredients.

Knead dough for about 3 minutes or until smooth and slightly sticky.

Cover and allow to rest for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

After resting, pinch a piece of dough and roll between hands into oblong shape, as shown in video.

Place them on a slightly flour flat container.

Add cooking oil to frying pan over low heat.

Add festival dough, fry 2-3 per side, then flip them over.

Festival takes about 5-6 minutes to fully cook and have that golden color.

Remove from oil, place on paper towel to drain.
