Crack 4 eggs into a bowl and beat well.
Dice 4 scallions and divide them into two portions, reserving half for later.
Turn the heat to maximum and preheat the wok for 30 seconds to 1 minute, tilting it in all directions to heat evenly.
Once the wok starts smoking, add a generous amount of vegetable oil and swirl to coat the wok.
Add half of the diced scallions and 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, stirring for a few seconds.
Pour in the beaten eggs and mix well with the scallions and garlic.
Once the eggs are mostly set, drizzle a little more oil around the edges of the wok.
Add the cooked jasmine rice, breaking up any clumps and mixing well to ensure every grain is loose and separated.
Season the fried rice with 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce and drizzle 1 tablespoon of soy sauce from the side of the wok to caramelize it.
Toss in the reserved diced scallions and mix well.
