Ingredients

  • 1 cup stale bread, soaked in milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine the leftover cooked meat, soaked bread, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
  2. 2Add the egg, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg to the mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  3. 3Form the mixture into small patties or balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  4. 4Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. 5Once the oil is hot, carefully add the patties to the pan, making sure not to overcrowd it.
  6. 6Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  7. 7Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
