Cream the 200 grams of unsalted butter and caster sugar together until combined.
Add half a teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix in.
Gradually add 330 grams of plain flour and combine until a dough forms.
Knead the dough into a ball.
Roll the dough slightly oblong to make it easier to shape.
Press the dough down to about 1.5 to 2 centimeters thick.
Cut the dough into fingers about 2 centimeters wide and 6 to 7 centimeters long.
Prick the tops of the dough with a fork to create holes.
Bake in the oven at 150 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes.
