Traditionally served as a starter, it reflects the Italian philosophy of using fresh, quality ingredients to create simple yet delicious dishes. Today, bruschetta has gained popularity worldwide, often found in restaurants and home kitchens alike, with variations that include different toppings and flavors.

extra virgin olive oil

Avocado oil has a higher smoke point.
Chop tomatoes and crush garlic.
Add fresh basil leaves, balsamic glaze or vinegar, salt, black pepper, and extra virgin olive oil to the chopped tomatoes.
Mix and leave to marinate in the fridge.
Slice the ciabatta or rustic bread, oil both sides, and sprinkle with Parmigiano Reggiano.
Bake the bread at 180°C until golden.
Top with the marinated tomato mixture and serve.
