Heat about 1/4 inch of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Cut a hole in the center of each biscuit using a cap from a whipped cream can.
Test the oil temperature by dropping in a donut hole; if it bubbles, the oil is ready.
Carefully add the biscuits to the hot oil, frying until golden brown on one side.
Flip the donuts to brown the other side; they will release from the bottom when ready to flip.
Remove the donuts from the oil and drain on paper towels.
While still hot, roll the donuts in a mixture of 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
For a glaze, mix about 3/4 cup powdered sugar with a little vanilla and enough milk to achieve a glaze consistency.
