1

Add flour, lard, baking soda, salt, honey, and white wine to a large bowl.

2

Knead with your fingers until lard is incorporated.

3

Add about 50 ml of warm water and continue to knead.

4

Gradually add some warm water and continue kneading until the dough is smooth and elastic.

5

Cover the bowl with a plate or plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.

6

Dust your table or cutting board with flour.

7

Divide the dough into 6 balls.

8

Place a ball of dough in the center of the table and sprinkle with flour.

9

Roll out with a rolling pin into a circle 3-4 mm thick and 20 cm in diameter.

10

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

11

Place a 'piadina' in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until it is golden brown with the typical brown spots on both sides.

12

If bubbles form, prick them with a fork.

13

Remove the 'piadina' from the heat and let it cool, by standing it upright on a rack, so it doesn't get wet and soft.

14

Repeat with the remaining dough.

15

Serve 'Piadina' still warm, stuffed with whatever you prefer.
