Cut the butternut squash into cubes.

Cut 3 cups of butter into pieces and place in the pot.

Add the butternut squash to the pot and create a hole for the feta.

Place about 9 oz of feta cheese (half of 18 oz) into the pot.

Add a small bulb of garlic, cut off the end and peel it, then place it next to the feta.

Season with salt and pepper.
