Chop the onion very fine.
Add ground beef to the bowl.
Add one egg and one tablespoon of sour cream.
Spice the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
Add half cup of breadcrumbs and mix thoroughly.
Form the mixture into little balls, around one to one and a half inches in size.
Heat oil in a pan over low heat.
Fry the meatballs in the pan until they are no longer pink.
Slice the mushrooms and prepare them in a pot with salt, covering and simmering for a few minutes.
In a bowl, mix half cup of water with one to two tablespoons of flour to thicken the sauce.
Add half cup of milk to the flour mixture and ensure it's smooth with no lumps.
Add the thickening mixture to the mushrooms and bring to a boil while stirring.
Cook for another minute or two until ready.
Place the fried meatballs into the mushroom sauce and bring to a boil again, cooking for a minute or two before serving.
