Measure out 1 cup of blanched marcona almonds.
Measure off 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil.
Heat a small fry pan over medium heat and add the 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil.
Immediately add the 1 cup of marcona almonds to the pan and start mixing them together continuously.
Cook the almonds for about 4 1/2 minutes, stirring continuously to ensure they cook evenly and do not burn.
Transfer the almonds to a bowl, allowing a little of the olive oil to go in with them.
Season the almonds with a generous 1/2 teaspoon of hot smoked Spanish paprika and a generous portion of fine sea salt.
Mix the almonds until all the seasonings are well combined.
Let the almonds sit for about 15 to 20 minutes to cool completely before serving.
