1 medium tomato
2 scallions
1 scotch bonnet pepper
1 teaspoon thyme
2 tablespoons barbecue sauce

Cut the scotch bonnet pepper in half and set aside (optional for spice).

Cut half an onion into medium-sized pieces.

Cut one whole tomato into medium-sized pieces.

Chop scallions into small pieces.

Take about two sprigs of thyme and set aside.

Peel the green plantains carefully, keeping the skins intact as much as possible.
