Bacon and Cheese Crustless Quiche

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little bit of oil.
Chop the bacon into small bits using scissors and add it to the skillet, frying until cooked.
Remove the bacon from the skillet, leaving the fat behind.
Add diced onion to the skillet with the bacon fat and sauté until lightly colored.
In a bowl, beat the eggs and add cream (or milk) to the mixture.
Season the egg mixture with salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and a pinch of Italian herbs.
Layer 2/3 of the cooked bacon in the bottom of a pie dish to form a crust.
Add the sautéed onions on top of the bacon layer.
Sprinkle a layer of cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the onions.
Pour the egg mixture over the layers in the pie dish.
Top with any remaining bacon and additional cheese if desired.
Bake in the oven for about 35 minutes at 180°C (approximately 375°F).
Check doneness by inserting a knife; it should come out clean.
Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving with desired sides.
