Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Finely chop the onion and garlic.
In a large bowl, combine ground bird meat with chopped onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper.
Add bread crumbs, egg, and yogurt to the mixture and mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
Fry the meatballs in batches until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
Transfer the browned meatballs to a baking dish.
Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with paprika and nutmeg.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
Serve hot, garnished with cilantro.
