2 cups wheat flour
1/4 cup jaggery
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 cup water (or as needed)
Oil for deep frying

In a mixing bowl, combine the wheat flour, jaggery, salt, and cardamom powder.

Gradually add water to the dry ingredients and knead to form a soft dough.

Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 30 minutes.

After resting, divide the dough into small balls (about the size of a golf ball).

Roll each ball into a small circle (about 3 inches in diameter) on a floured surface.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, carefully slide in one puri at a time.

Fry the puris until they puff up and turn golden brown, about 1-2 minutes on each side.

Remove the puris from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Serve warm as a sweet snack or dessert.
