Instructions
- 1Prepare the filling by finely chopping cabbage, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, and green onions.
- 2Grate ginger and mince garlic, then add to the vegetable mixture.
- 3Season the filling with soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- 4Place a dumpling wrapper on a clean surface and spoon a small amount of filling into the center.
- 5Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half, and pinch to seal.
- 6Repeat the process until all filling is used up.
- 7For steaming, arrange dumplings in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper.
- 8Steam the dumplings over boiling water for 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
- 9For pan-frying, heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and place dumplings in the pan.
- 10Fry until the bottoms are golden brown, then add water to the pan and cover to steam for 5-7 minutes.
- 11Remove the lid and cook until the water evaporates and the bottoms are crispy.
- 12Serve hot with soy sauce or dipping sauce of choice.

Instructions
- 1In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add water and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- 2In a separate bowl, mix the chopped vegetables, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and black pepper. Set aside.
- 3After the dough has rested, divide it into small balls (about the size of a golf ball). Roll each ball into a thin circle on a floured surface, dusting with cornstarch to prevent sticking.
- 4Place a spoonful of the vegetable mixture in the center of each circle.
- 5Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal. You can also pleat the edges for a decorative touch.
- 6Prepare a steamer by bringing water to a boil. Place the dim sum in the steamer basket, making sure they are not touching each other.
- 7Steam the dim sum for about 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is translucent and cooked through.
- 8Remove from the steamer and serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

- 8Prepare a steamer and place the momos in it, ensuring they are not touching each other. Steam for about 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- 9Serve hot with dipping sauce or chutney.
