1 stick of butter
1 cup of milk

Heat a large pot of water on the stove over high heat.

Once the water is warm, add in 1 stick of butter and 1 cup of milk.

Peel the husk off of the corn and clean it to remove all the tiny hairs.

Once the water, milk, and butter mixture is boiling, gently add in the corn on the cob.

Cook the corn for 8 to 10 minutes, gently pressing them down to ensure they cook through.

Once cooked, gently remove the corn on the cob with tongs onto a serving plate or platter.

Let the corn cool off for about 5 to 10 minutes before handling.
