Pick oyster mushrooms from the garden, removing the stem parts for composting.
Shred the oyster mushrooms into small pieces to mimic the texture of saltfish.
Prepare a green seasoning mix with C Shadow Benny, thyme, and lemon balm.
Add two spoonfuls of the green seasoning to the shredded mushrooms.
Sprinkle in a little turmeric powder and paprika, along with some sea salt, and mix well.
Chop chives finely and set aside.
In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, adding two teaspoons of baking powder and some salt.
Add the shredded mushrooms and chopped chives to the dry ingredients in the bowl.
Pour in one cup of water, mixing until the batter reaches a consistency thicker than pancake batter but not too dry.
Heat coconut oil in a rocket stove until hot.
Using a cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, ensuring they don't stick to the bottom.
Fry until golden brown, then remove and drain on paper towels.
