Mix together 1 and 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt in a medium bowl and set aside.

Combine 1/4 cup of milk and 3 tablespoons of plain yogurt in a larger bowl and stir until mostly incorporated, then set aside.

In a stand mixer, cream together 1/2 cup of unsalted butter until briefly mixed, then add 1 cup of granulated sugar and cream until fluffy.
