1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2

In a large bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef, 1/2 cup of Italian seasoned breadcrumbs, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of fresh parmesan cheese, 1 garlic clove, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.

3

Mix the ingredients until just combined.

4

Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.

5

Place the meatballs on a baking sheet.

6

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 16 minutes, flipping them after 8 minutes to brown both sides.

7

While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce by adding 1 tablespoon of butter to a medium saucepan over medium heat.

8

Add 1/2 cup of chopped onions and 1 minced garlic clove to the saucepan and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

9

Add the remaining 3/4 of the can of Campbell's tomato soup with basil and oregano and 1 can of diced tomatoes (14 oz) to the saucepan.

10

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

11

After 10 minutes, remove the sauce from the heat and stir in 1/4 cup of heavy cream and 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped basil.

12

Once the meatballs are ready, spoon some sauce over each meatball and finish with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
