Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
Mix the ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce by combining barbecue sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and brown sugar in a saucepan.
Heat the sauce over medium heat until simmering, stirring occasionally.
Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and add them to the sauce.
Stir to coat the meatballs in the sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes on low heat.
Serve warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
