Garlic Fried Rice

2 to 3 tablespoon Light olive oil
1 to 1+1/2 tablespoon / 12g to 18g Garlic (finely chopped)
1/2 Teaspoon salt OR TO TASTE
1/4 Teaspoon Chili Flakes OR TO TASTE
3 cups Cooked White Basmati Rice

Gently remove any lumps in the cooked basmati rice with wet hands and set aside.

Heat a pan or wok and add the light olive oil, chopped garlic, and salt. Fry on medium heat for about 30 seconds or less.

Reduce the heat to medium-low or low, depending on the heat of your stove.

Add chili flakes and fry until the garlic is golden brown, being careful not to burn it.

Add the cooked basmati rice and mix well.

Increase the heat and fry on medium to medium-high heat for about 3 minutes.

Turn off the stove and remove the pan from heat. Cover the lid of the pan and allow it to rest for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
