Jelly Flan

1 pack yellow gulaman powder
1 liter water
1/2 cup sugar
6 eggyolks
1 can condensed milk (300ml)
1 can evaporated milk (370ml)
few drops of lemon or vanilla flavoring
2 tbsp caramelization (for llanera)

Prepare the jelly by dissolving the yellow gulaman powder in 1 liter of water and adding 1/2 cup of sugar. Stir until fully dissolved and bring to a boil.

Pour the jelly mixture into molds and let it set.

For the flan, whisk together the egg yolks, condensed milk, evaporated milk, and flavoring until smooth.

Pour the flan mixture over the set jelly in the molds.

Caramelize 2 tablespoons of sugar in a pan and pour it into the llanera before adding the flan mixture.

Steam the flan until fully cooked and set.
