Activate the dry yeast in 100 ml of warm milk with 1 tsp of sugar and 2 tbsp of flour, letting it sit until frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 500 g of flour, 100 g of sugar, and a pinch of salt.
Add 150 g of room temperature butter, 2 eggs, and the activated yeast mixture to the flour mixture.
Mix until a dough forms and knead on a floured surface until smooth.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a cake or loaf.
Place the shaped dough in a greased pan and let rise again until puffy.
Sprinkle nuts on top before baking.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
