4 cups chicken broth

1 tablespoon ginger, minced
2 medium potatoes, diced
2 medium carrots, diced
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
1 tablespoon salt
1 can (14 oz) coconut milk
