Beef Ramen

Season the meat with hoisin sauce, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1/4 tablespoon of minced garlic, dry ginger, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper to taste. Stir until well seasoned and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

In a wok or large skillet, heat 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil and a splash of chili oil until hot.

Add the marinated beef and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, spreading the meat in an even layer. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes or until well cooked.

Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.

In the same wok, add the remaining sesame oil, chili oil, green onions, bell peppers, carrots, cabbage, and garlic. Season with one seasoning package from the ramen noodles.

Stir-fry the vegetables for about 2 minutes until they soften.

Remove the vegetables from the wok and set aside with the beef.

Add the broth to the same wok and bring to a boil over high heat, which will take about 5 minutes.

Once boiling, add the ramen noodles, breaking them slightly with a spoon, and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes until done.

Return the beef and vegetables to the wok and cook for another minute to heat everything up.

Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt, pepper, or leftover seasoning from the ramen noodles if desired.
