Ingredients

  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 200g ramen noodles
  • 200g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 boiled eggs, halved
  • 1 cup bok choy, chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp chili oil (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1In a pot, bring the beef broth to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. 2Add the grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil to the broth. Stir well.
  3. 3Season the broth with salt and pepper to taste. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes to develop the flavors.
  4. 4In a separate pot, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  5. 5In the simmering broth, add the sliced beef and bok choy. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until the beef is cooked through and the bok choy is tender.
  6. 6Divide the cooked ramen noodles into bowls.
  7. 7Ladle the hot broth with beef and bok choy over the noodles in each bowl.
  8. 8Top each bowl with halved boiled eggs and chopped green onions.
  9. 9Drizzle with chili oil if desired for extra heat.
  10. 10Serve hot and enjoy your beef ramen!

  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp miso paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 eggs (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper.
  2. 2In a slow cooker, combine the beef broth, water, soy sauce, miso paste, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  3. 3Add the seasoned beef to the slow cooker, ensuring it is submerged in the liquid.
  4. 4Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender and easily shredded.
  5. 5Once the beef is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
  6. 6Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker along with the sliced mushrooms and ramen noodles.
  7. 7Cover and cook on high for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the noodles are cooked through.
  8. 8If using, boil the eggs separately for 6-7 minutes, then cool and peel them.
  9. 9Serve the ramen in bowls, topped with green onions and halved boiled eggs if desired.
