Mix dry yeast, sugar, and salt with warm water.
Add flour and combine until smooth in a mixer.
Knead the dough until smooth and cover with a towel to rest for about an hour or until it doubles in size.
Prepare a mixture of ground pork and beef, adding processed onion, black pepper, and salt to taste, along with a little bit of water.
Cover the meat mixture with plastic wrap and set aside while the dough rises.
Once the dough has doubled in size, roll it into a long sausage shape and cut into equal-sized pieces.
Roll each piece into small golf ball-sized balls and cover with plastic wrap.
Flatten one ball of dough with your hands and add about 1 tablespoon of the meat mixture in the center.
Fold the sides of the dough over the meat, leaving a small quarter-sized opening in the middle.
Heat oil in a pan about 1.5 cm deep and place the Belyashi in the oil with the openings facing down.
Fry on low to medium heat, turning until golden brown on both sides.
