Soak carne serenada in water for 10 minutes, changing the water 3-4 times to reduce salt.
Cut carne serenada into large cubes.
Heat a pressure cooker and add 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
Add the carne serenada to the pot without seasoning and let it fry for 2 minutes without stirring.
After 2 minutes, turn the carne serenada to brown it evenly.
Add 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and sauté with the carne.
Add 2 teaspoons of turmeric and 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper, mixing well.
Add a small chopped bell pepper and sauté for 1 minute.
Add 2 medium chopped onions and sauté for another minute.
Add 300 g of sliced linguiça calabresa and sauté for 1 minute.
Pour in 50 ml of water and stir.
Add 2-3 ears of corn cut into pieces and 400 g of macaxeira cut in half.
Add enough water to cover the ingredients but do not exceed the pressure cooker limit.
Close the pressure cooker and cook for 20 minutes once it reaches pressure.
After 20 minutes, let the pressure release naturally for about 30 minutes before opening the lid.
Check if the carne and macaxeira are cooked; if needed, add more water and heat to combine flavors.
