Peel and slice green bananas into chunks.
Boil water in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the sliced bananas to the boiling water and cook until tender, about 20 minutes.

Add minced garlic and ginger; cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Stir in diced tomatoes and bell peppers; cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add beef pieces to the vegetable mixture and brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
Season with salt and other spices to taste.
Combine the cooked bananas with the beef and vegetable mixture in the pot.
Add a splash of lime juice for flavor.
Cover and simmer for an additional 10 minutes to meld flavors.
