Today, Teriyaki is cherished for its sweet and savory flavor profile, making it a favorite in both home kitchens and restaurants.

mirin

💰Cheaper: white wine
Rice vinegar with sugar mimics mirin's sweetness and acidity.
soy sauce

💰Cheaper: tamari
Low-sodium soy sauce reduces salt intake, while tamari is gluten-free.
sesame oil

💰Cheaper: canola oil
Olive oil is healthier, while canola oil is often less expensive.
Mix Aloha Shoyu, garlic, sesame oil, Mirin, and brown sugar in a bowl. Mix well!
Add in your thinly sliced beef. Cover with plastic wrap and let marinate for 4 hours or up to 48 hours for intense flavor.
After your meat marinates, it's time to cook.
Cook meat on medium-high for about 5 minutes on each side.
Take extra sauce from meat marinade and add it in a pot to simmer and thicken (used to glaze meat).
Make your side dishes if you want.
