In a mixing bowl, combine Weizenmehl, Ei, Salz, and Wasser to create a soft dumpling dough.
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, adding approximately a tablespoon of salt.
Use a spoon to scoop the dough and drop it into the boiling water, ensuring the spoon is wet to prevent sticking.
Cook the dumplings for about 3-5 minutes until they float to the surface.
While the dumplings are cooking, heat a skillet and add a generous amount of Sonnenblumenöl.
Add the sliced onions and chopped garlic to the skillet and sauté until they soften and develop a light color, adding a pinch of salt to speed up the process.
Once the dumplings are cooked, drain them without rinsing them with water.
Add the cooked dumplings to the skillet with the onions and garlic, mixing well.
Incorporate the spices: Pfeffer, Majoran, Kümmel, and a generous amount of Paprikapulver, stirring to combine.
Turn off the heat and add the Käse, mixing it in until melted and well combined with the dumplings and onions.
Let the mixture sit for 2-3 minutes to allow flavors to meld and any browned bits to loosen from the bottom of the skillet.
Serve and enjoy the dish.
