Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cover and let rise until doubled in size, about 30-45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with poppy seeds or cinnamon.
Bake until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack before glazing with powdered sugar.
