Activate yeast in warm water until frothy, about 5-10 minutes.
Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
Add activated yeast mixture, milk, and melted butter to the dry ingredients.
Stir until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Punch down the dough and divide it into equal pieces.
Shape each piece into a ball and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake buns for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from oven and brush with melted butter before serving.
