Slice 5 cloves of garlic not too thin and place them in a pan.
Add 250g of tomatoes (grape or any preferred type) and 1/2 cup of olive oil to the pan.
Add about 15 basil leaves, adjusting to taste.
Cook on low heat until the tomatoes wrinkle, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Once the tomatoes change color, add 1 tablespoon of salt and stir to distribute it evenly.
Cook for a total of 8 minutes, then turn off the heat and let cool completely.
In a large pot, bring 4 liters of water to a boil and add 1 tablespoon of salt and a drizzle of oil or olive oil.
Once boiling, add 500g of macaroni and cook according to package instructions (9 minutes for this brand).
After cooking, drain the macaroni and rinse it under cold water to remove excess starch, then let it drain for 3 minutes.
Transfer the macaroni to a serving dish and add 1 bunch of washed and chopped arugula.
Add the cooked tomatoes and all the olive oil from the pan to the dish.
Squeeze in the juice of 1/2 lemon for acidity.
Add 12 olives (green or black) and 50-80g of parmesan cheese, either grated or sliced.
Gently mix all the ingredients together to combine.
