Peel 6 ripe bananas and place them in a bowl.
Use a fork to crush the bananas until they are somewhat smooth, leaving some texture.
Add 1 cup of white sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar to the crushed bananas.
Add 4 eggs to the mixture.
Incorporate 1/4 cup of milk powder, 1 cup of vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and lime juice.
Add 1 teaspoon of freshly grated nutmeg and mix everything until uniform.
In a separate bowl, combine 2 cups of whole wheat flour, 2 cups of white flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture in three parts, folding it in each time until combined.
Pour the batter into two greased loaf pans, dividing it evenly between them.
Top one loaf with rolled oats and the other plain, or add pecans to the second loaf if desired.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 35 to 45 minutes, checking for doneness.
Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
