Poor Husband's Ground Beef Pasta Skillet - One Pan | 30 Minutes

Salt water in a pot and bring it to a boil.

Add 1.5 cups of bow tie pasta to the boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes until done.

In a pan, add 1 pound of medium ground beef and break it up while cooking until browned.

Chop a small red bell pepper and set aside.

Drain some grease from the cooked ground beef, leaving a little in the pan.

Add chopped onion, 3 cloves of chopped garlic, and the chopped bell pepper to the pan with the beef and sauté until fragrant and the bell pepper softens.

Stir everything together in the pan after a couple of minutes of sautéing.

Add 14 ounces of diced tomatoes and 0.5 cup of beef broth to the pan.

Season with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1-2 teaspoons of ground black pepper, and 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning, then stir everything together.

Let the mixture simmer for about 8-10 minutes over medium heat.

Add the cooked pasta to the pan and stir to combine with the sauce.

Top with sharp cheddar and extra sharp cheddar cheese, then cover to let the cheese melt for a couple of minutes.

Serve on a plate and garnish with fresh parsley.
