Carefully lower the twisted potatoes into the hot oil in batches.
Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-6 minutes per batch.
Remove the potatoes with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Season immediately with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Drizzle with lemon juice and toss to combine.
Top with cheese and fresh herbs before serving.
Serve with BBQ sauce, ketchup, or mayonnaise on the side.
