This simple yet indulgent dessert has become a popular choice for parties and gatherings, where they add a touch of whimsy and color to any table.

Wash strawberries thoroughly.
Optionally cut off the stems of the strawberries or leave them on.
Insert skewers into the strawberries, grouping three on each skewer.
In a saucepan, add 3 cups of granulated sugar, 2 cups of water, and 1 cup of corn syrup.
Stir to incorporate the ingredients, but do not overmix as it will combine while boiling.
Place the saucepan over low to medium heat.
Insert a candy thermometer, ensuring only the tip touches the liquid and not the bottom of the pot.
Bring the mixture to a boil and monitor the temperature.
After about 5 minutes, the mixture should reach about 220°F and will start to boil violently.
Watch closely as the boil slows down and the mixture thickens, aiming for 300°F.
Once it reaches 300°F, turn off the stove and remove the saucepan from heat.
Wait for the bubbles to subside before dipping the strawberries.
Dip each strawberry into the syrup, rolling to coat evenly, and drain excess syrup.
Place the dipped strawberries on a silicone mat to cool and harden.
