Honey is a natural sweetener that can be more cost-effective.
Toss together cream cheese, fresh raspberries, a spoon of vanilla extract, and a little bit of sugar in a bowl.
Optionally blend the mixture until smooth.
In a separate bowl, combine eggs, a little bit of milk, a couple of teaspoons of honey, a small teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
Whisk the egg mixture together until fully combined.
Prepare a simple syrup by boiling equal parts sugar and water over medium heat.
Add some raspberries to the boiling syrup and mix until fine.
Take French toast bread and fill it with the cream cheese and raspberry stuffing, piling it high.
Close the stuffed bread with another piece of bread.
Dip the stuffed bread into the egg batter, pressing down to ensure the mixture sticks.
Heat a grill and add a little bit of butter to it.
Place the French toast on the grill and cook on both sides until evenly browned.
Once cooked, remove from the grill and cut the French toast in half diagonally.
Plate the French toast and garnish with additional raspberries, syrup, and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
