- ●2 cups grated potatoes
- ●1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- ●1/2 tsp salt
- ●1/4 tsp black pepper
- ●1/4 tsp garlic powder
- ●1/4 tsp onion powder
- ●1/4 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1Peel and grate the potatoes using a box grater or food processor.
- 2Place the grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture.
- 3In a mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until combined.
- 4Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- 5Take small portions of the potato mixture and shape them into small cylindrical tots.
- 6Carefully place the shaped tots into the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- 7Fry the tots for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- 8Remove the fried tots from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- 9Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

- ●1/4 cup granulated sugar
- ●1/4 tsp salt
- ●1 large egg yolk
- ●2 tbsp cold water
- ●1 cup milk
- ●1/2 cup heavy cream
- ●1/2 cup granulated sugar
- ●1/4 cup cornstarch
- ●1 tsp vanilla extract
- ●1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ●1/4 cup egg whites
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, softened butter, sugar, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
- 3Add the egg yolk and cold water to the flour mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- 4Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into circles to fit into a muffin tin.
- 5Press the dough circles into the muffin tin and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- 6In a saucepan, combine the milk, heavy cream, sugar, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Heat over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
- 7Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Stir in the egg whites until well combined.
- 8Pour the custard mixture into the prepared pastry shells, filling them about 3/4 full.
- 9Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
- 10Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
