Lay the wafer sheets on a tray.
In a pot, add condensed milk, vanilla, and chocolate melts, and bring to a boil.
Add 250 g butter to the pot and mix until melted and combined.
Add 2 tablespoons of brandy or rum and mix well.
Add crushed pistachios and mix until combined.
Gradually add ground almonds until the mixture reaches a thick consistency.
Spread the mixture evenly onto a wafer sheet using a spatula.
Press the next wafer sheet on top and repeat layering until desired height is reached.
After the final layer, press down firmly and place a chopping board or heavy object on top for weight.
Leave for about 1 hour, then refrigerate for 2 hours until set.
Cut into squares or desired shapes and serve.
