2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 sliced onions
2 cups flour
1 tablespoon black pepper
2 teaspoons salt
2 cups beef stock

Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan.

Add 3 sliced onions and sauté until caramelized.

In a bowl, mix 2 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of black pepper, and 2 teaspoons of salt.

Dredge the liver in the flour mixture until coated.

Remove the caramelized onions from the pan.

Add 2 more tablespoons of oil to the pan.

Pan-fry the liver for about 3 minutes on one side.

Flip the liver and brown for another 2 to 3 minutes.

Add the caramelized onions back into the pan with the liver.

Pour in 2 cups of beef stock.

Cover the pan and let it simmer for about 25 to 30 minutes.

Check the liver after 45 minutes of simmering; it should be tender and the gravy thickened.
