Liver and Onions

1 lb beef liver
1 lb calf liver
1/4 cup self-rising flour
2 large onions, sliced
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
to taste Larry's seasoning
to taste all-purpose seasoning
1/2 cup water
1 can canned green beans
2 tbsp bacon grease

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Rinse hands and prepare the liver by removing stickers and cutting it into pieces if necessary.

Coat the liver pieces in self-rising flour, ensuring they are well-covered.

Place the floured liver pieces into the hot oil in the pan.

Season the liver with salt, pepper, and Larry's seasoning before cooking.

Cook the liver until it is browned on one side, then flip to brown the other side.

Remove the liver from the pan once browned but not fully cooked, as it will cook more with the onions.

Add chopped onions to the pan, using the flour left in the pan to create a bit of gravy.

Saute the onions until they are soft, then add a small amount of water to help create gravy.
