Liver and Onions

Prepare the liver by cleaning it and cutting it into pieces.

Season the liver with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chicken powder.

In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat and add the liver pieces.

Cook the liver until browned on both sides, then remove from the pan.

In the same pan, add chopped onions and bell peppers, sauté until softened.

Add flour to the pan and stir to create a roux.

Slowly add beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps.

Mix corn starch with water to create a slurry, then add to the gravy to thicken it.

Return the liver to the pan, cover with the gravy, and simmer until cooked through.
