Pour the peach mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
Dot the filling with small pieces of butter.
Cover the pie with a second crust or create a lattice top.
Seal the edges of the crust and cut slits for steam to escape.
Brush the top crust with a beaten egg for a golden finish.
Sprinkle brown sugar over the top for added sweetness.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
