1

Make the dry rub by combining white sugar, brown sugar, paprika, salt, pepper, chili powder, and cumin in a small bowl and whisking well.

2

Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and dry them with a paper towel on both sides.

3

Remove the membrane from the underside of the ribs using a small knife and a dry paper towel for grip.

4

Place the ribs meat side down on a baking sheet lined with non-stick aluminum foil or regular aluminum foil sprayed with oil.

5

Sprinkle half of the dry rub on the underside of the ribs, then flip them over and sprinkle the remaining rub on the meaty side.

6

Cover the ribs with more non-stick aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

7

Before baking, take the ribs out of the fridge and let them sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.

8

Bake the ribs at 300°F for about 2 hours.

9

Preheat the grill at medium-high heat for 7 to 10 minutes.

10

Rub the grill with a paper towel soaked in oil to prevent sticking.

11

Place the ribs meat side down on the grill and cover them with barbecue sauce.

12

Grill the ribs for 7 to 8 minutes, then uncover and carefully flip them over.

13

Cover the flipped ribs with more barbecue sauce and grill for another 7 to 8 minutes.

14

Cut the ribs into individual portions and serve with your favorite barbecue sauce.
