Cocoa powder is less expensive and can provide a rich chocolate flavor.

Take a 12 ounce bag of chocolate chunks and dump it in the crock pot.

Pour an entire can of sweetened condensed milk over the chocolate chunks.

Add 2 cups of heavy cream to the mixture.

Add a quarter cup of granulated sugar to the crock pot.

Measure and pour in 6 cups of 2% reduced fat milk.

Add 1 tablespoon of cinnamon to the mixture.

Add 1 1/2 teaspoons of nutmeg to the mixture.

Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the mixture.

Sprinkle a touch of chili powder on top (optional).

Cover the crock pot and cook on low for about three hours, stirring every half hour to mix all the ingredients.

Serve hot, topped with marshmallows and marshmallow peeps.
