12 servings
Servings4
1 lb ground sirloin
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
12 slider buns
6 slices cheddar cheese
Lettuce leaves (for garnish)
Sliced tomatoes (for garnish)
1/4 cup ketchup

Quantities are estimated based on standard recipes for your convenience. The actual ingredients used in this video are accurate.

1

Press ground sirloin into a quarter sheet cookie tray to form a thin, even layer.

2

Cover the tray with plastic wrap, tuck it under, and press down with another tray for evenness.

3

Season one side of the meat with salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.

4

Use a doughnut cutter to cut out burger shapes, ensuring they are slightly larger than the slider buns.

5

Heat extra virgin olive oil in a pan and add grated half an onion.

6

Place the sliders on top of the caramelized onions in the pan.

7

Season the other side of the sliders with salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.

8

Fry the burgers for about 2 minutes on each side until they have a nice crust and the onions are caramelized.

9

Assemble the sliders with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and ketchup on the slider buns.

10

Serve and enjoy, noting that the burgers fit perfectly on the buns due to the cutter size.
