Hamburger Sliders

1/2 cup dried minced onion
1 pound ground round
1 tablespoon butter
8 slices American cheese
8 dill pickle slices
mustard
8 slider buns

Rehydrate 1/2 cup dried minced onion with hot water, stirring and letting it sit.

Form 1 pound of ground round into eight 2 oz meatballs.

Heat a pan on medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.

Place the meatballs in the pan, pressing them down flat.

Top each meatball with the rehydrated onion, pressing it into the meat.

Sprinkle seasonal seasoning on top of the onions (or use salt and pepper).

Cook the sliders for about 2.5 to 3 minutes on one side.

Flip the sliders and cook for another 2 to 2.5 minutes on the other side.

Prepare the slider buns by placing one dill pickle slice on the bottom of each bun.

Place the cooked sliders onion side down on the pickles.

Top each slider with one slice of American cheese and close the buns.
