  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. 2In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. 3Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. 4Stir in the sour cream and sugar until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. 5Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it comes together.
